Language has been part of my life from a very young age.
Not just in books or classrooms, but in the middle of everyday life: in my parents’ hotel, in conversations with guests, in all those small moments where words mean more than just information. Today, language is not only my profession – it’s my vocation.
I’m Lorena Victoria Lienhard, a doctoral candidate in German studies, speechwriter, rhetoric coach, and lecturer. I help people find their voice – and shape their message so it truly resonates.

 

Learning communication from the ground up
Growing up in the world of a hotelier couple, I learned early on how crucial successful communication is for the success of a company – not only with guests, but also within the team. It became clear to me that language isn’t just a tool. It’s the key to building trust, creating clarity, and fostering collaboration.

This experience still shapes my work today. I bring not only deep expertise in external communication, but also a clear understanding of what makes internal communication work – how to create language that unites, resolves misunderstandings, and builds a sense of belonging.

 

Lecturer, coach, listener
My academic journey led me to the University of Zurich, where I completed my Master’s degree in English and German studies with distinction. I’m now pursuing a PhD in German studies and teaching German as a lecturer at the university.

One of my proudest milestones is the publication of my Master’s thesis – a reflection of my dedication to precise and vivid language.

In addition to my university teaching, I also work at a secondary school, where I especially enjoy supporting teenagers and young adults. I teach with structure, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of connection.
